Today is my 40th birthday. I've received a present each day for 40 days (that sure takes the sting out of turning 40). My dad and I share a birthday, and today was the first time in many years that we were able to celebrate together. We went to breakfast together and then we ran new-resident errands--like to the DMV. We really know how to party! For dinner I received 40 roses from my wonderful husband and my mom made a fabulous Italian dinner. Not only did we celebrate our birthdays, it was the inaugural meal in Mom and Dad's new dining room. It was fun!!
This week we got a list of recommended revisions (additions) to our home study. We sent the answers to our case manager and she is working on making those changes. Hopefully we are nearing the end of the home study process.
So, that's all the news for now. We are excited to read about all of the referrals out there and we can see such clear evidence of God's hand working to bring families together. It is an encouragement to us as we look forward to bringing our daughter home!

That's great Kimberly! We got a call from USCIS right after we submitted our HS telling us to expect our approval in the next several weeks, so be prepared for the pace to pick up!
Peace and blessings to you all. (and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!)
