Tonight our case manager called and told me, "We've found your home study." I didn't know it was lost, and in retrospect, I'm glad I didn't! It is a long story, but basically, our home study (and about 45 others) were deleted from the computer, but they have been recovered. There is some jibberish in the recovered document, but the case manager is working to correct it so we can send the draft to Children's Hope.
Todd spoke with the fingerprint place, and my second set of prints was sent about 10 days ago. (Remember, I had to send in two sets because my prints were so poor). Hopefully, the wait won't be too long to get my FBI clearance (but please keep praying).
So, there are signs of progress...And that is always good news!!
