This is the last picture of the 40 beautiful roses that Todd gave me for my birthday. Also in the picture is a cute Colombian doll that my brother and his family gave me for my birthday. It is made from discarded orange peels and made in Colombia. (Incidentally, there is a good chance that my roses also came from Colombia). On the paperwork front, we are still waiting for the completed home study to reach us. As soon as we get that, we'll be applying for our I-17H. That's the next step in our journey.

I remember thinking...Forty isn't Fatal. My 40's clearly hold some of the best memories. Fifties are EVEN BETTER. Congratulations...glad you have your parents here and I am waiting anxiously, like everyone, to congratulate you on your new daughter.
