Yes, we got "the call." Actually, Todd got the call, because I missed it--I was in the shower at the time. When Todd called to tell me the wonderful, exciting, overwhelming news, I tried to tell him a funny story. But he interrupted me and said, "Don't you want to know why I called?" So, I politely let him go first, and I am so glad that I did!!!
We are still in the midst of making the official acceptance, but I will at least give you a hint: she is a 7 year old girl in Medellin. We are thrilled.
Also on Monday, as I was dealing with this dizzying array of information, I hosted a Moms in Touch prayer luncheon in our home and babysat two preschoolers. It was a crazy, exhilarating day.
