We are coming to an end of a great summer...
Todd and I celebrated our 20th anniversary on July 29. In June we went to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for a two night stay. I've always wanted to stay there (I love giraffes). It was great. On our actual anniversary we went out for burgers and went mattress shopping. We enjoy being together--in the exotic and the everyday times.
We finished our addition. There are still pictures to be hung, but all of us are in our new rooms (everyone moved to a new spot). We still have things to sort and put away, but we are really enjoying our new space.
We went bowling with another family who adopted three boys from Colombia. It was such fun. The girls had a great time--it gave us a glimpse of where we are headed. It was neat to connect with another adoptive family--I know they will be a great resource to us. It's great to make new friends.
And now, we are looking at back to school supplies, fall sport schedules, dance classes and the crazy fun of fall. It has been a great summer--looking forward to our continuing adventures!
