One More Time

Today my dad and I went to get fingerprinted at the Leon County Sheriff's Department. (If I have to keep getting fingerprinted, at least I want to go new places). You may be wondering why my dad and I went. Dad was not getting fingerprinted for adoption, but for a concealed weapons permit...but that's another story.

The officer at the LCSD was great. She used Ridge Raiser on my fingers. The FBI had suggested that before I went the last time, but the worker at FDLE acted as if she had never heard of it. The officer also provided a letter to the FBI that explained why my prints were poor quality. So, I am very hopeful that this time my prints will go through.

The Sheriff's department is across town from us and while we were driving we noticed "Colombia Fast Food Restaurant." We knew we'd get in trouble (from my mom who was home with Riza) if we stopped for lunch, but we decided a little appetizer reconnaisance was in order. I had an arepas. It was so awesome. I can't wait to go back! I had no idea we had a Colombian restuarant in Tallahassee.

On the way back home, I photocopied everything and then sent off my prints one more (and hopefully last) time.

You must be getting so frustrated! We're praying that this time they finally go through!

And don't you just love arepas! Yummy!

I did not know what a Colombian arepas was...so I looked it up and GUESS WHAT? A common topping for Columbian arepas is CHOCOLATE!
