July: Things are cookin'

Here are some highlights from July

We celebrated 4th of July with sparklers and fireworks at home. All the girls liked the private show.





Audrey got her driver's license (yowza!) and later in the month she got a car (yikes)



My mom and I took Yuly and Riza to Jacksonville. We visited the zoo and the beach plus swam about 6 hours in the hotel pool.





We finished our second post-adoption report (yay!) Yuly's language skills continue to improve. There are just a few grammatical errors...(and mixing of pronouns). However, the two Spanish words that she continues to use are "pero" and "si." As far as I know, she has never used the words "but" or "if." Other than that, she is speaking all English.



It is stinkin' hot--and that about covers July :)
